## Quick notes on angle units

**degree [°]**A degree is 1/360 of a full rotation, or equal to π/180 radians. Usually denoted by °.

**circle**A circle is a full rotation, equal to 360 degree or 2π radians.

**gon**A gon is 1/400 of a turn(360 degrees).

**grad [g]**Grad, also know as gradian, grade, gon, is equal to 1/400 of a turn(360 degrees).

**mil**A mil is 1⁄6400 of a circle in NATO countries.

**minute [']**A minute of arc(MOA) is equal to 1/60 of one degree.

**quadrant**A quadrant is equal to one quarter of a circle.

**radian [rad]**Radian(rad) is the ratio between the length of an arc and its radius. 1 rad is equal to 180°/π, it is about 57.2958°.

**revolution [r]**Revolution is a full rotation.

**right angle**A right angle is equal to 1/4 turn, or 90°.

**second ["]**A second of arc(arcsecond) is 1⁄60 of one minute of arc(MOA).

**turn**A turn is 360°.
